While not the dominant fauna in most ecosystems lizards of all species play crucial roles in their respective environments. Between the 6,700+ recognised species a wonderful variety of shapes & sizes are displayed - from dwarf geckos weighing just 1.2 grams to dragons measuring over 3 metres.
